Election Information 

Colorado Special Districts (including Red Sky Ranch Metropolitan District) hold elections for directors to serve on the District’s Board in May of even numbered years.  The next Board of Directors elections will be held in May 6, 2025.

In order to be eligible to run for a Board seat a person must be an “eligible elector” in the District. An “eligible elector” is defined as:

    A registered voter of Colorado and either:

  1. A resident of the District for not less than 30 days, or
  2. The owner (or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District (please note: to be eligible a property must be held in an individual name not a partnership, corporation or trust) or
  3. A person obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property.

The Districts are governed by state statute as well as the Consolidated Service Plan approved by Eagle county when the Districts were established. Below are links to the Service Plan and Maps.
